Pneumatic Actuator Ball Valve
A Pneumatic Actuator Ball Valve is an automated valve system designed to control the flow of liquids, gases, and other media in industrial pipelines using compressed air. This type of valve combines a ball valve mechanism with a pneumatic actuator, allowing quick and efficient opening or closing without manual operation. The main component of a ball valve is a spherical ball with a hole (bore) through its center. When the valve is open, the hole aligns with the pipeline, allowing fluid to flow freely. This quarter-turn operation makes the valve very fast and easy to control.
Pneumatic actuators operate using compressed air and are generally available in single-acting (spring return) and double-acting designs. In a single-acting actuator, air pressure opens the valve and a spring returns it to its original position during air failure. In a double-acting actuator, air pressure is used for both opening and closing the valve. This system ensures reliable automation and quick response in industrial processes.
